The League of United Latin American Citizens seeks a passionate and talented college student to fill the open position of a Technology Intern at the LULAC National headquarters in Washington, DC.

Requirements

Description

Internship Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field;
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe software;
  • Must complete a minimum of 80 hours within the selected school term;
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred;
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Internship Responisbilites and Duties: 

  • Help to install of PC hardware and software;
  • Assist in network and hardware troubleshooting;
  • Assist with the web content management system for the organization;
  • Update user and technical documentation;
  • Research solutions for current and future needs;
  • Will provide some assistance in the maintenance and performance tuning of application with databases;
  • Assist staff in performing system backup and maintenance functions;
  • Perform special projects to be determined by the IT Director or Executive Director;
  • Collaborate across departments to assist the LULAC national office with major events and mission-focused priorities.
