About the Program |
Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL) is seeking an unpaid Legislative Fellow for his Washington, DC office for the 2015 Spring semester. Fellows will gain valuable experience in nearly every aspect of a Congressional office performing a variety of legislative, press, and administrative duties. The Legislative Fellow’s primary responsibility though will be in assisting legislative staff with legislative research and special projects. Individuals with Chicago ties are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication (written and oral) skills. Preference will be given to those who have a policy or legal background, have completed or are currently enrolled in a graduate studies program, can work full-time or near full-time, and can start as soon as possible.
