Google's Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Discovery program

Opportunity Type

Scholarship

About the Program

The Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Discovery program is a two-day interactive summit at Google New York for first-year students who are traditionally underrepresented in the technology sector. Attendees will get an inside look at Google's organizational structure, business operations and culture.

Selected students will participate in professional development workshops and have the opportunity to select classes based on career and personal interests. Google has a culture of continuous learning, and students will have an opportunity to experience that through classes like coding, juggling, and yoga. You will hear from Googlers working in Marketing, Advertising Sales, People Operations, Recruiting, and technical functions about what it takes to succeed in the tech industry and at Google. You'll also have the chance to network and learn more about Google’s recruiting process.

BOLD Discovery is an all-expense-paid program. Google will provide hotel accommodations, meals and transportation stipends for all invited students.
