About the Program

To be considered, you must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in school. The TV Accounting department works with revenue and cash received from the distribution of Fox movies and TV Shows around the world. Our department works with Free TV and Pay TV (including Pay-Per-View, Video on Demand & other Digital Media) contracts, calculating license fees, invoicing and collecting payments. Projects/Tasks: The intern will assist the accounting group with a variety of tasks including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation. They will learn how to process royalties, prepare monthly reports and management of customer accounts. There will be other duties and various ad-hoc projects as assigned. Learning Objectives: 1. Better understanding of generally accepted accounting principles 2. Ability to perform more complex functions in Excel 3. How to interact with colleagues in other departments, including sales, finance and operations 4. Insight into financial reporting process on a monthly and quarterly basis 5. Exposure to how business is conducted internationally
