About the Program

Fox Networks Group (FNG) is seeking a motivated, technically savvy undergraduate intern to work with the Talent Acquisition department. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a student looking to gain practical work experience in the human resources profession with a focus on contributing to the excellence of FNG’s recruitment practices. This role is based in Century City, CA on the Fox Studios lot. The intern will build a develop a detailed understanding of FNG’s business structure, core objectives and workforce needs, while working with a cross section of recruiters and hiring managers (nationally) to learn the recruitment process and provide effective and efficient support for a high volume of open positions. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with social media professionals within FNG to further develop and maintain our employment branding messaging, materials and campaigns. Partnering with Recruiters to execute crowd sourcing and other social media strategies focused on engaging a variety of professional organizations, schools and functionally-specific groups to grow our candidate pools. Researching associations, groups and other professional and student organizations that help drive our Audience Strategy philosophy and recruiting initiatives. Attending department meetings and events to learn HR best practices and develop more creative messaging for job postings and outreach.

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are late January through late April. Interns must be available to work 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship. Description

To participate in Fox’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria: Be a currently enrolled student working towards a Bachelors degree at an accredited college or university. Recent graduates are not eligible for this program. Be a sophomore (second year college student) or above. Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company. Must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles, California. All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship. Previous work experience in an office environment preferred. Previous internship experience preferred. Fox Networks Group (FNG) Talent Acquisition Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); highly professional presentation skills and phone demeanor. Strong technical skills specifically in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Successful candidates will have the confidence to handle project-based work and incorporate feedback to further evolve the exciting programs we have planned. Must be an undergraduate (Junior or Senior) student with knowledge of and interest in Media/Entertainment Industry and the field of Human Resources.
