About the Program |
Magnet Schools of America (MSA) is offering a summer internship for an intelligent, driven, and enterprising undergraduate or graduate student interested in learning about education policy and nonprofit work in Washington, DC. Through their work with Magnet Schools of America, our interns gain specific knowledge about magnet schools, the school choice movement, and the current successes and challenges of the K-12 public education system. The intern will attend education-related Congressional briefings and hearings, as well as other events throughout the city. The intern will analyze data related to magnet school performance and incorporate that information into his/her policy analyses. This position is a great opportunity for a high-achieving individual to apply policy analysis and research skills to the K-12 educational landscape.
