About the Program

The Executive and Corporate Events Intern is ideal for candidates with ambition of becoming a leading executive. This position offers the opportunity to work in the Office of the President and CEO and make connections with CEA’s Executive level staff. Additionally, this position will shadow CEA’s President and CEO at the International CES. Critical Duties and Responsibilities -Shadow CEA’s President and CEO at the largest technology trade show, International CES in Las Vegas. This opportunity involves managing his schedule and all supporting logistics. -Support the Executive team with special event projects including board meeting preparation, and mass mailings. -Assist in coordination of internal meetings for CEA members and staff including arrangements for CEA luncheons, conferences, receptions and dinners. -Serve as an ambassador for the Office of the President and CEO. -Assist in generating correspondence, scheduling and tracking appointments, reserving travel (air, hotel, ground transport, etc.), preparing all expense reports and management of calendar. -Other duties as required by business needs.

Requirements

Description

Work Experience: Experience working with Executive Level staff or on events preferred. Education/Training: Completed or be working towards undergraduate degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, events or a related field. Skills/Capabilities/Technical: Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously. Highly organized with an acute attention to detail. Excellent writing and oral communications skills.
