About the Program |
The Office of Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson is seeking full-time and part-time unpaid interns for the Spring 2015 semester in the member’s Washington D.C. office. Responsibilities will include assisting the administrative and legislative staff with writing, legislative research, constituent services, and attending various briefings and hearings. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess strong oral and written communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on Capitol Hill while learning about the legislative process. Texas ties are preferred, but not required.
