About the Program

The Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) invites applications from Texas residents pursuing graduate studies in community college education/leadership, or other graduate or professional schools. TACHE will award four $2,000 fellowships. Two fellowships will be awarded to students whose career emphasis is in community college education/leadership studies at the graduate level. The other two fellowships will be awarded to students whose study emphasis is in university/post-graduate education.

Requirements

Description

Applicants must:

  • Be of Chicano/Latino heritage (one parent fully Hispanic or each parent half Hispanic);
  • Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited U.S. university full-time; and
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Must show proof (transcripts) of graduate level studies.
