About the Program

The Blueprint Fellows Program is a year-long full-time academic tutoring program in urban schools across the country. The Program is part of a larger school reform effort designed to accelerate achievement in high need schools. Partner schools are currently located in Houston, Denver and Massachusetts. Blueprint Fellows are received a $20K salary and healthcare coverage and may receive a bonus of up to $5K based on attendance and student performance measures upon successful completion of the year-long commitment of service. Requirements

Description

The Blueprint Fellows Program seeks candidates who:

  1. Hold an Associate degree or higher
  2. Have an outstanding college record
  3. Are able to pass a competency test in mathematics & literacy
  4. Demonstrate a passion for helping at-risk children succeed & thrive
  5. Experience working with adolescents or related field preferred
  6. Experience tutoring or mentoring youth is preferred

  • Team-player attitude
  • A strong sense of personal responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to be flexible and deal with a certain amount of unpredictability
