About the Program |
The intent of this award is to enable students to attend college without accumulating burdensome debt. Applicants must be permanent residents of a New England state who have financial need, display solid academic achievement, excellent citizenship and character, a strong work-ethic, and have a desire to effect positive change. This scholarship is renewable for four years of undergraduate study. Student must be studying for their first bachelors degree. Award amounts are $3,000-$10,000. |

All applicants must be able to apply for federal student aid. It is rare for a community college student to qualify financially. We consider students when they transfer to four-year colleges. |
Requirements
Description |
Students should have a rigorous academic history and demonstrate a commitment to serving others. Students must provide the financial aid information from the college they will attend. The scholarship meets some portion of unmet need but expects students to incur some federal debt. Students should have part-time employment if possible. Students must have filed a FAFSA. The majority of recipients are Pell eligible. |
