About the Program |
The Health Equity Fellowship program is a 18 month placement program for leaders who have at least their undergraduate degrees and likely have had some hands-on public health and/or advocacy experience. Fellows will be placed to work at one of The California Endowment’s regional offices (Sacramento, Oakland, Fresno, Los Angeles and San Diego) to learn about and contribute to the Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities, a 10 year place-based initiative to create communities where children and youth are healthy, safe and ready to learn. Fellows work to advance advocacy, research and policy projects related to Affordable Care Act implementation. |

Description |
Greenlining seeks talented, self-motivated individuals committed to equity and justice. Academy participants generally have the following traits:
Participants are carefully selected to represent Greenlining’s constituency in terms of age, education, work and volunteer experience, political perspective, and ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Individuals from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply; there are no preferred majors. |
