About the Program

This scholarship was established in 2006 through a gift from the Eustace-Kwan Family Foundation. This scholarship is designed to help promising graduating high school students access college and current college students getting ready to enroll or already enrolled in a four year institution continue and complete their college education. The selection committee looks for students who are focused, able to articulate clear goals, determined to succeed in their chosen field of study and career, and whose educational opportunities will be increased by financial assistance. In addition, the selection committee will take into consideration the overall quality of the personal statement and whether a students' activities align with stated goals. Special consideration will be given to working students.

  • Plan to enroll as a full-time student in a four-year college for the 2016-17 academic year
  • Demonstrated school and/or extra-curricular activities (volunteer or paid)
  • Demonstrated financial hardship
  • United States citizen or eligible non-citizen (eligible non-citizens include United States legal residents and AB 540 students)
