About the Program |
The Kruttschnitt Aspire Scholarship Program (KASP) is named in recognition of a legacy commitment made by Cal alumnus, local business and community leader, Theodore (Ted) H. Kruttschnitt ’64. The program supports low-income, underrepresented minority students who have been admitted to Cal as an incoming freshman or junior college transfer. In addition to financial aid, the KASP Scholars will receive the guidance and resources necessary to succeed at the number one public university in the world. To ensure access and the success of the KASP Scholars, CAA will partner with various campus units and student service centers, including the Division of Equity & Inclusion. |
