Requirements

Description
  • Be graduating from high school and plan to attend a four-year university or college, or a community college in the fall of 2013;
  • Have a parent (or parents) or legal guardian who was employed as a vineyard worker by a winegrape grower during the 2012 or 2013 season;
  • Complete the application form;
  • Attach a high school transcript;
  • Attach a copy of your SAT or ACT results if you are applying for a four-year scholarship;
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor, the school principal or counselor.
  • Submit a two-page essay (approximately 500 words) that tells the committee about you and your career goals.
