About the Program |
LatinoJustice interns conduct legal research and draft litigation documents, assist with client interviews, and accompany lawyers to court when practicable. Legal interns are included in all stages of litigation planning and strategizing our impact cases. Recent student assignments have included research into the First Amendment rights of laborers, the Fourth Amendment privacy rights of Latino residents vis a vis immigration home raids, and the Fourteenth Amendment right to equal protection. Students are expected to work 12-15 hrs/week during the school semester, and summer interns work full-time for ten weeks. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. |
