About the Program |
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is the official campaign arm of the Democrats in the House of Representatives and the only political committee in the country whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way to victory. Program Overview: DCCC Fellows will learn skills that will prepare them for entry level positions on political campaigns when they graduate in the spring. These skills include mobilizing communities, organizing political events, managing campaign data, and many more. We are looking for students with a passion to elect Democrats to the House of Representatives. Hours per week: 15 – 20

Description |
Success at the end of the eight weeks will be demonstrated through the completion of the required trainings, readings, and quizzes and by exhibiting a thorough understanding of the tasks, skills, knowledge and experience of a Field Organizer candidate. A Capstone Project is required and should be started by the second week of the program in order to ensure a successful project. The Capstone Project will encompass execution of basic organizing skills which will highlight volunteer recruitment and building a volunteer base around a campaign through either a House Party or a Day of Service. |
