About the Program

This scholarship was established by the family of Dr. Joe Misiewicz, former professor and chairperson of the Telecommunications Department (TCOM) at Ball State University, to honor “Dr. Joe” for his commitment to the department, his passion for teaching, and his contribution to the field of broadcast media over the years.

Requirements

Description

-Major or minor in TCOM, preferably Sales and Promotion concentration  

-Junior standing (60+ credits) at the time of application

-Demonstrated leadership at Ball State

-Must be a major or minor in Telecommunications at Ball State and be actively enrolled at the time of application.

-Must be enrolled at Ball State for a semester that falls within the 12 months immediately following the announcement of the award.
