About the Program

Comcast established the fellowship with the Department of Telecommunications (TCOM) at Ball State University for a student who will work up to 15 hours per week providing video services to Comcast Cable and be responsible to Comcast.

-TCOM scholarship application form

-A current DegreeWorks Audit

- Your resume

-A 1-2 page typed (double spaced) essay about yourself (background, activities, aspirations)

- Evidence of financial need also may be submitted.

Requirements

Description

- Must be a major in Telecommunications at Ball State and be actively enrolled at the time of application

-  Must provide 2 letters of support indicating you have the skill sets to work in a media environment.

-Must be available to work for Comcast up to 15 hours per week in both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters.

-The recipient of this award will be a member of the Student Advisory Council (SAC) and must be available for SAC meetings.

-Must provide a web/Vimeo/You Tube site or DVD/CD displaying the applicant’s audio and/or video work.
