Cargill Global Scholars

Opportunity Type

Scholarship

About the Program

Cargill is committed to preparing youth for the future and supporting access to education by providing scholarships to students that is why we are excited to announce the new Cargill Global Scholars program. The new global scholarship program aims to build future leaders who will recognize Cargill as a high quality, innovative, responsible leader in nourishing people.  To achieve that, the new program offers exciting elements that we have not offered before. In addition to a financial award, the scholarship recipient of the new program will have opportunities (free of cost) to go through leadership training, be matched with a Cargill mentor, interact and build relationships with Cargill businesses, network and build lasting friendships with students from different countries.  To start, we plan to award a total of 60-70 scholarships per year, in five key Cargill countries: Brazil, China, India, Russia, and the U.S.

Cargill is working with the Institute of International Education (IIE) to administer the program. IIE has created www.cargillglobalscholars.com to provide information about the program and manage the scholarship application process.   Specific questions about Cargill Global Scholars or the website, including the application should be directed to IIE. Please visit www.cargillglobalscholars.com for details. Cargill does not make selection decisions about applicants.
