Consisting of ten chapters, AACHE is a statewide Chicano/Latino/Hispano non-profit organization. AACHE was established to promote equitable educational and employment opportunities within Arizona colleges and universities. This is actualized through faculty recruitment and retention efforts, scholarship programs, MEChA/Asociacion Latina Estudiantil (A.L.E.) leadership workshops, community involvement, and the annual AACHE conference. AACHE provides a forum for discussion of Chicanos/Latinos/Hispanos higher education issues and identifies workable solutions to these issues.

AACHE'S Mission is to provide a forum for the discussion of issues related to Chicanos/Latinos/Hispanos in Higher Education and to cooperate in providing workable solutions to these issues.
