Current Opportunities for Carnegie Foundation

Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship Program

Opportunity Type: Fellowship
Application Deadline: March 16, 2018
Description: Fellows receive support and training to develop a range of professional skills in the areas of education systems, networked improvement science, writing, research, public speaking and group facilitation, and work and project management. Fellows are also exposed to the deep expertise and large professional network of Foundation staff.

Fellows report to a mentor who also manages their day-to-day work. Mentors provide professional coaching and guidance as well as feedback for professional growth and development. Additionally, all fellows are supervised by the Fellowship Director.

Through their participation in the program, new fellows become a part of a growing network of past and current fellows. By assuming leadership roles within the post-baccalaureate program, fellows have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and actively shape the program.

The work scope of each Carnegie Post-Baccalaureate Fellow is determined in conjunction with his or her mentor, taking into account his/her background, strengths, interests, and goals.
