Management Associate Program (MAP)

Description: Our Management Associate Program (MAP) is a more in-depth learning experience than our Hospitality Internship Program. With the same career building goal in mind, we encourage our MAP participants to go above and beyond in a friendly, supportive, and competitive environment. MAP is geared towards recent college graduates, and upon successful completion of the program, you’ll be given an assistant manager or equivalent position in the company. Our Management Associates are innovative, creative, critical thinkers who are flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of our daily operations. They are interested in cross-functional areas outside their division of interest, to develop a full understanding of our company. Our Management Associates are our future leaders. At a glance: Our Management Associate Program is a 12-month leadership development opportunity for recent grads. It's been around since 1989 and many of our property presidents and vice presidents are alumni of the Management Associate Program. Upon successful completion, our MAP's are placed in entry-level leadership roles to build a solid career foundation for future leadership opportunities. You'll build a company network many dream of having the opportunity to create – and you'll get to know Associates from all areas of operations across the Company. MGM Resorts offers development at every stage of your career from when you're a Hospitality Intern or a Management Associate and beyond. We also provide all full time employees with $2,100 per year in tuition assistance to pursue a degree or certification.

Hospitality Internship Program (HIP)

Description: Imagine working alongside a professional, in your field of interest, in one of the biggest resort destinations in the world! You'll get to show your specific skills and innovative personality to the leadership of your property and distinguish yourself among your peers, not to mention gain experience and training from one of the most prestigious companies in the world. We offer positions in more than just hospitality - from finance, to graphic design, to marketing (to name a few)! If you're looking for an internship program where you "grab coffee" for the office, this program is not for you! The Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) is geared towards providing college students the chance to demonstrate their leadership potential in a supportive environment as well as be given critical projects to work on and take part in collaborative and engaging workshops and classes. They will also attend exclusive property tours and luncheons with our company leaders and learn more about our company and how to build skills to prepare them for the business world. We provide our participants with mentors, professional development, and even offer housing options in one of our own hotels while you stay here! MGM Resorts International is glad to welcome you to explore the opportunities we have for you! At a glance: Our Hospitality Internship Program has been around since 1993. It's a full-time paid internship program that starts every June and lasts 10 weeks. You'll have the opportunity to meet executives, work in 1-2 areas within the division you applied for, tour our properties, and participate in professional development seminars and courses. We offer a housing option for a small fee, including meals, and the opportunity to live on the Las Vegas Strip! We also have fun Housing Program Activities like pool parties, shows, dinners, or even going to the Adventuredome Theme Park together! Our interns are busy working on strategic projects, shadowing and learning a great career foundation from the industry's top leaders. We have normal housing communities and thriving downtown community with a performing arts center, award-winning medical facilities and a nature preserve.

Executive Associate Program
