This role is based in Century City, CA on the Fox Studios lot. The intern will build a develop a detailed understanding of FNG’s business structure, core objectives and workforce needs, while working with a cross section of recruiters and hiring managers (nationally) to learn the recruitment process and provide effective and efficient support for a high volume of open positions. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with social media professionals within FNG to further develop and maintain our employment branding messaging, materials and campaigns. TV Distribution Accounting Internship (Spring 2015)

Description: To be considered, you must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in school. The TV Accounting department works with revenue and cash received from the distribution of Fox movies and TV Shows around the world. Our department works with Free TV and Pay TV (including Pay-Per-View, Video on Demand & other Digital Media) contracts, calculating license fees, invoicing and collecting payments. Projects/Tasks: The intern will assist the accounting group with a variety of tasks including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation. They will learn how to process royalties, prepare monthly reports and management of customer accounts. There will be other duties and various ad-hoc projects as assigned. Learning Objectives: 1. Better understanding of generally accepted accounting principles 2. Ability to perform more complex functions in Excel 3. Content Protection Graduate Internship (Spring 2015)

Description: The Fox Content Protection group is charged with protecting all feature and television content produced or distributed by Fox Entertainment Group, and is responsible for ensuring that all content can be distributed profitably and securely through all media worldwide. The group approaches the challenge from several directions: Technology, Litigation, Anti-Piracy Enforcement, Preventing Content Leaks, Legislation/Regulation, and Public Relations/Education programs. Project(s)/Tasks: Twentieth Century Fox seeks J.D. and L.L.M. candidates for internship positions in its Content Protection group. Our department of attorneys and other legal professionals oversees the protection of Fox television (e.g. The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Glee) and film (e.g. Avatar; Date Night and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), content against the pervasive and ever-evolving threat of piracy. There is a particular emphasis on combating copyright infringement occurring in online environments such as user-generated content sites like YouTube or peer-to-peer networks. Interns will participate in the monitoring of and enforcement against such piracy, including conducting detailed copyright infringement and fair use analyses; identifying and researching litigation targets, and searching the internet for infringing copies of Fox content. Familiarity with basic principles of Copyright Law and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a plus. Learning Objectives: The position will provide you with a solid understanding of the widespread issue of film and television piracy and its impact upon the entertainment industry and, ultimately, consumers.
