Ann McLane Kuster was born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire. She and her husband Brad, an environmental lawyer, now live nearby in Hopkinton where they raised their two sons, Zach and Travis. Annie was elected to the United States Congress to represent New Hampshire’s 2nd District in November 2012, and was sworn into office on January 3, 2013. She is the first woman to ever represent the district in Congress. She is a member of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, the House Committee on Agriculture, and the House Small Business Committee.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: staffing the front desk area and greeting all office visitors, leading constituents on capitol tours, processing mail, attending hearings and meetings, researching issue areas and writing legislative briefings and memos, and providing general administrative support for staff and the Member.
