Our Mission: Engage diverse, talented young people in the work of cities. Empower them to be effective local change agents. Support their evolution from community-oriented student to local citizen leader.

Our Vision: An America where all citizens understand what cities do and why local government matters. An educated citizenry actively engaged in developing and providing innovative and cross-disciplinary responses to the social problems in their own backyards. A society where government service is as high on our best and brightest’s priority lists as law school, high-paying consulting jobs and nonprofit work are today.
