Founded in memory of Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. and Senator Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, we provide $8000 college scholarships to students from minority groups under-represented at California's four-year colleges and universities with financial need and who have demonstrated academic success at one of the three community colleges in Contra Costa County.

The Kennedy-King Transfer Scholarship

Description: The Kennedy-King Memorial Scholarship Fund each spring awards a number of two-year scholarships of $4,000 per year to students who transfer in the fall or spring following the award from Contra Costa County community colleges to junior standing in four-year accredited institutions.

Description: The Kennedy-King Memorial Scholarship Fund also offers one-year graduate scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each to pursue a graduate degree.
