Moreno/Rangel Fellowship Program

Description: This program provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students across Texas to gain real experience working in the Texas House of Representatives. Program participants will be placed in one of the MALC Caucus members’ offices and serve as full-time policy fellows. In addition to learning the legislative process and developing their leadership skills, participants will receive a monthly stipend to assist with living expenses Fellows must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a two or four year accredited institution, having completed at least 60 hours. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply. Applicant must be 21 years of age or older (as of January 8, 2015).
